The Special Events division of Community Relations & Tourism manages all major citywide special events, including the popular Western Days festival, Holiday Stroll, Sounds of Lewisville summer concert series, ColorPalooza and St. Paddy's Texas Style. These activities are funded through a combination of Hotel-Motel Occupancy Tax (HOT) designated by the state for tourism operations, and event sponsorships or revenue.

For more information about special events, please call 972.219.3401.

If your band is interested in performing for a City of Lewisville event, please fill out this online form.

Christmas at the Cabin

Join us for a festive, family friendly holiday experience!

Take a trip back to an 1870's Christmas and celebrate the old fashioned way.  Tour the Historic Minor- Porter Log House, make a hand-dipped candle and an ornament for your own tree.   Take home a commemorative LLELA mug after sipping hot cider around the campfire!

Visitors are welcome to arrive at any time during the open hours but are encouraged to arrive by 2 PM to allow enough time to experience all of the magic. Registration is not required and the event is free with entry to LLELA:  $5/vehicle, payable by debit or credit card only.
