City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All essential city services will continue to operate. Residential garbage and recycling collection will be moved by one day (Thursday pickup moved to Friday, Friday pickup moved to Saturday).
The following holidays are observed by the City of Lewisville. Please note that some buildings may have a different scheduled than the ones listed below. In general the majority of City of Lewisville venues will be closed on these holidays.

The only holidays that affect pickup are Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Service is pushed back one day i.e. If Christmas falls on a Monday, then houses normally serviced Monday are serviced Tuesday, Tuesday houses are serviced Wednesday, etc.
