The Neighborhood & Inspection Services Department processes applications and permits to allow alcohol sales within the City of Lewisville ensuring compliance with all local ordinances and regulations. Applications are routed through Planning & Zoning for location verification before a final review with the City Secretary's Office.
Applicants must fill out a Pre-Qualification packet available from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) website and then submit that packet to the city using the application form below. The city's review process takes approximately 5 - 10 business days. All correspondence regarding the application will be electronic.

Election Information
On February 5, 2005, a Local Option Election was held in the City of Lewisville. The registered voters of Lewisville voted to allow:
"The Legal Sale of Beer and Wine for Off-Premise Consumption Only."
"The Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages in Restaurants by Food and Beverage Certificate Holders Only."
On November 4, 2013, a Local Option Election was held in the City of Lewisville. The registered voters of Lewisville voted to allow:
"The Legal Sale of All Alcoholic Beverages for Off-Premise Consumption Only."
Fee Information
Most applications will have a permit fee, which will be invoiced when the TABC approves the application. Once the fee is paid, the City of Lewisville will issue a city permit. This permit must be maintained in conjunction with the TABC permit.
Renewal
Renewal permits will be invoiced approximately one month in advance of the expiration of the TABC permit.
