The traffic triangle planting, located near the DCTA A-Train Old Town Station, 617 E. Main Street, previously was home to a variety of native wildflowers and grasses.  The area is currently undergoing a design transformation with thought given to the best species to provide native, drought-tolerant colorful plants over a wider length of blooming seasons that will not impede safe pedestrian or vehicular traffic progress in the area.
