The Traffic Operations Division is responsible for providing safe and efficient movement of traffic by effectively maintaining traffic signals, roadway lighting, traffic signs, and markings.
How do I report problems?
Issues can be reported online or by calling the Public Services' 24 hour line at 972.219.3510. A dispatcher will take the information and arrange for appropriate action. The Traffic Division addresses issues with traffic signals, traffic signs, school zone beacons, crosswalks, pavement markings, and street lights that are on top of traffic signal poles and I-35 highway lighting.
The Texas Department of Transportation TxDOT is responsible for signage and pavement markings on state roadways, including I-35E, SH 121 Business and Bypass, FM 1171 (Main Street) from I-35E to west city limits, FM 3040, and FM 407. TxDOT can be reached at 940.387.1414 or online.
Street Light Issues:
Use the buttons below or the online map to report street light issues.
Use the 'Texas New Mexico Power Company' button to report a street light issue in the Lewisville area that is serviced by Texas-New Mexico Power.
Use the 'CoServ Power Company' button to report a street light issue in the eastern section of Lewisville off Hwy 121 and in the Castle Hills area serviced by Co-Serve.
Street light issues can also be located and reported to the appropriate provider using the GIS Street Light map. The map is searchable by address and displays who the issue should be reported to.
