For the Love of Lewisville

For the Love of Lewisville is a day of service where volunteer groups come together to serve the Lewisville community and improve the quality of lives for others. This community-wide event includes various repairs/improvements throughout the city ranging from yard work to park cleanup. For the Love of Lewisville strengthens community and creates resiliency by addressing real physical needs in the community while improving community relationships and building community.

Who Are We Assisting?

We are assisting the following single-family home owners:

limited financial means
disabled or those with functional challenges
senior citizens
Veterans

Homeowner Rehabilitation Project Application & Authorization

The images below show the neighborhoods (Berry Heights, Tanglewood, Greenland Hills) that are included in the 2024 For the Love of Lewisville Community Service Day planned for Saturday, October 19.

**Homes outside of these areas will not be included in this years For the Love of Lewisville.**

If homeowners in these areas received a letter and a paper application feel free to complete the paper application. Completed applications can be mailed to City of Lewisville, Attn: Bryan McBreen, P.O. Box 299002, Lewisville, TX, 75029 or hand delivery to Lewisville City Hall, Neighborhood Services, 151 W Church Street, second floor

Volunteer for the event

Thank you for your interest in wanting to volunteer for this year's For the Love of Lewisville Community Service Day!

The City of Lewisville will be hosting its annual For the Love of Lewisville Event on Saturday, October 19, 2024, 7 a.m.-12 p.m.

Any religious organization, nonprofit, civic organization, business or community organization that chooses to join us on this community service day will complete minor exterior house or yard projects that day.

Use this link to sign up to volunteer at the event. To register for the event an account with Amilia will need to be created or used.

Reminders

Please note that if you are bringing children with you, the adult to child ratio is 1:5

Tentative Itinerary

7-7:30 a.m.: Breakfast will be served at the Bill Weaver Arena, 101 Parkway Drive
7:30-8 a.m.: Kickoff Introduction at the Bill Weaver Arena, 101 Parkway Drive
8-9:30 a.m.: Mobile Home Park(s) & Cemetery Project Assignments
9:30- 12 p.m.: Home Project Assignments
11:00 a.m.-12 p.m.: Lunch Pickup* at the Bill Weaver Arena, 101 Parkway Drive

* If you have any specific dietary preferences or requirements for breakfast and lunch, please let us know.
