Mobile Food Establishment
A valid permit issued by the regulatory authority is required to operate a mobile food establishment. Each mobile unit must be inspected by the regulatory authority before a permit will be issued.

- Mobile Hot Truck
- Ice Cream Truck
- Limited Service Pushcart
MOBILE FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION
Required items prior to issuing a mobile vendor permit:
- Commissary Approval Application (must be notarized*)
- Copy of health permit of commissary
- Last recent health inspection of commissary
- Certified Food Manger certification (for full service mobile units)
- Copy of valid vehicle insurance
- Copy of owner's drivers license
- Inspection of the mobile food unit
*The operator of the permitted mobile food establishment must report daily to an approved commissary for supplies, cleaning and servicing of the unit. Mobile food establishments must be stored at the commissary when not in use.
The fee for a mobile food unit annual permit is $300 prorated (ice cream pushcart $200).

Restricted operations
- It is unlawful for mobile food establishments to sell food on any street, median or sidewalk of the city or residential property, except for ice cream through limited service pushcarts.
- It is unlawful for mobile food establishments to sell food within city parks unless the vendors participate in the Food Trucks In Parks Program.
- Mobile food units will be subject to inspection in the field.
- It is unlawful for a mobile food establishment to operate within 1,000 feet of a school, an event operating with a special event permit or a city-operated event.
