Electric, Water and Natural Gas Consumption Reporting Requirement

The following information is in accordance with House Bill 3693 which requires governmental entities to report aggregate costs for gas, electric and water services on their publicly accessible internet website.

The City of Lewisville purchases electricity from GEXA Energy and CoServ. In calendar year 2023, the City purchased a total of 38,375,812 kilowatt hours.

The City purchases natural gas from CoServ and Atmos Energy. In calendar year 2023, the City purchased a total of 13,425.38 MCF of natural gas.

The City purchases propane from Northwest Propane. In calendar year 2023, the City purchased a total of 910 gallons of propane.

The City purchases water from Dallas Water Utilities and Upper Trinity Regional Water District. In calendar year 2023, the City purchased a total of 7,787,137,000 gallons of water.

The total cost of electricity, natural gas, propane and water purchased by the City in the calendar year 2023 is $16,301,174.31.
