Corporate Drive Extension Project

Design of the Corporate Drive extension project was completed in 2022. A significant portion of the funding for this project is Regional Toll Revenue funding. In December 2023, Sundt Construction Inc., was hired to build Segments 2 and 3 of this project at a cost of approximately $43 million. The project includes new street paving, sidewalk and trail improvements, and drainage and water improvements.

Indian Oaks Project

In November 2015, City of Lewisville voters approved a bond  package that included street, park, and public safety projects. Proposition 1 set aside $71.6 million for arterial and neighborhood streets including selected street replacements in the Indian Oaks Neighborhood. On February 15, 2021, City Council awarded a contract to Garver Engineering to begin design work on these improvements. The City’s plan is to replace the old water and sewer lines, improve roadway drainage and upgrade the roadways from asphalt to concrete while maintaining the existing look and feel of the neighborhood. There are no plans to install sidewalks, curbs, or gutters. Design is about 60% complete and construction is expected to begin winter/spring of 2023.

I-35E Utility Project

The scope of work for the project includes abandoning or removing and replacing existing water and wastewater lines along the I-35E Frontage roads and under I-35E in preparation for TxDOT's expansion of the roadway. A portion of this work will also include water and wastewater lines along the 1171 crossing (Main Street) and Business 121 near Texas Street.
