The Windows to LLELA

Artist: Kailyn Saltzman

Installed: Spring 2022

Location: LLELA Visitor Center, Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, 201 E Jones Street

“The Windows to LLELA” convey the types of things that visitors of the park can do and see throughout the area. The design offers an illusion that includes “windows” that allows one to “see” into LLELA. Each window depicts different scenes of activities that visitors can take part in, as well as the types of wildlife, flora, and fauna that can be found at LLELA. The mural also contains scattered imagery of the varying species of plants and animals that gives viewers an insight of the types of wildlife that they may observe throughout the park.
