Artist statement: Poppy and Bluebonnet are my favorite Texas wildflowers. The bold colors and graceful shapes will bring smiles to car passengers’ and school children’s faces as they interact with the giant blooms in the crosswalk.

The Poppies and Bluebonnets crosswalk is part of the Public Art Work Plan for 2021.
