Narrative

Lewisville State Bank opened in 1910 in this two-story red brick building on the southwest corner of Main and Charles. The bank was the site of the 1946 bank robbery in which members of the Lewisville High School football team chased down the robber. The bank relocated in 1955 to the northeast corner of Main and Charles.

1955 - moved to a new building at Main and Charles
Acquired by Commercial Bank of Texas (CBT)

Lewisville State Bank was opened in 1910 on the southwest corner of Main and Charles by James Degan. It relocated in 1955 to the northeast corner of Main and Charles. and later was acquired by Commercial Bank of Texas.
