Texas Tunes concert with Bruce Robison

Saturday, Feb. 8
Post Date:November 22, 2024
Tickets are now on sale for the 15th season kickoff concert of Texas Tunes, featuring famed musician Bruce Robison, in the Huffines Performance Hall at Lewisville Grand Theater on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Tickets can be purchased at LewisvilleGrand.com/tix. Tickets are $35 for Tier 1 seats; $25 for Tier 2 seats; and $20 for Lewisville residents, but these tickets must be bought in person with proof of residency. The show will begin at 8 p.m.

The concert is being supported, in part, by a grant from Texas Commission on the Arts.

Robison is considered by many to be one of the Lone Star State’s finest tunesmiths. His songwriting turned the heads of some of the industry’s biggest artists and took them to the top of the charts (The Chicks’ No. 1 version of “Travelin’ Soldier,” George Strait’s recording of “Wrapped” and the beautiful Tim McGraw / Faith Hill rendition of “Angry All The Time,” to name a few). While those achievements might be considered the pinnacle of a songwriting career to some, Robison has never been one to rest on his laurels. He is always creating. His shows draw big crowds.

The Texas Tunes concert series features performers from music halls and festivals throughout the state who present great music in a variety of genres, but all with that unique Texas flair that has made the state a hotbed for fans of live music.

The Grand is Lewisville's home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.

For details about upcoming events, or rental information for the facility, please visit LewisvilleGrand.com or call 972.219.8446.

This program supports the “Old Town” Big Move in the Lewisville 2025 vision plan. The full plan can be viewed online at cityoflewisville.com/lewisville2025.
