City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All essential city services will continue to operate. Residential garbage and recycling collection will be moved by one day (Thursday pickup moved to Friday, Friday pickup moved to Saturday).
The City of Lewisville will hold a special meeting with residents to discuss proposed traffic calming improvements along King Arthur Boulevard on Thursday, Nov. 7, 6:30-8 p.m., in the Lecture Hall of LISD TECC East, 2553 FM 544.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from residents on a draft traffic calming plan designed to slow down traffic on King Arthur Boulevard. The project scope, budget, and time frame also will be discussed. Preliminary plans for the proposed improvements will be available as a starting point to aid in discussions.
