Pivot: works by second-year MFA candidates at UNT
Friday, October 25-Saturday, November 30*
Pivot: works by second-year MFA candidates at UNT features artworks by eleven artists pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art at the University of North Texas Denton. Working in diverse mediums, this graduate student cohort shares their work from a pivotal moment in their MFA journey, the second year of a three-year intensive study program. The midpoint of their studies is often the moment when MFA students solidify directions in their work that will be carried throughout their careers. We hope you will join us in exploring this exciting turn in their creative exploration.
This exhibition includes artists Paul Armstrong, Janay Bookhart, Noah Broomfield, Julia Caswell Freund, Carla Hughes, Noah Garcia, Nadin Nassar, Nova N iu, Tamara Rafkin, Robyn Rozelle, and Calvin Yaun.
* The Grand will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, but reopen for closing day of the exhibition on Saturday, November 30 for gallery hours only.
