Join us for an illuminating evening as we trek along LLELA's Cottonwood trail and enjoy the Buck Full Moon!

The July Full Moon is called the Buck Moon to signify the new antlers that emerge on a male deer's forehead during this time.  Male deer, or bucks, shed their antlers and grow new ones every year.  Deer belong to the Cervidae family along with elk, moose, reindeer among others.
