Join the Friends of LLELA at the Cicada/Cottonwood Pavilion for a celebration of World Migratory Birding Day 2024!

Migratory Bird Day is "a global campaign that aims to raise awareness of migratory birds and the need for international cooperation to conserve them."  This year's Migratory Bird Day will celebrate insects and their importance to migratory birds.

Come celebrate migratory birds and learn about the importance of insects to their journey at LLELA's Cicada/Cottonwood Pavilion.

7:30 AM - 10 AM  Advanced Bird Walk Registration required

10 AM - 11AM  Family Friendly Bird Walk

10 AM - 1:15 PM  Learn from educational displays from local non-profits that support migratory birds and enjoy hand-on activities to expand your knowledge of all things birds!

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM  Live Bird Presentation by the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center!

This is a free event with paid admission into LLELA.  We accept credit or debit card only for the $5 day use pass.  Advanced Bird Walk is an additional $5, with pre-registration required.
