City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All essential city services will continue to operate. Residential garbage and recycling collection will be moved by one day (Thursday pickup moved to Friday, Friday pickup moved to Saturday).
The Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is waiving adoption fees through Saturday, May 4, for all dogs over 20 pounds. The regular adoption fee is $90.
